HOW TO DONATE?
The button below will take you directly to our JustGiving page, follow the link and instructions and start donating!
For simplicity and to enable us to claim tax relief on your donation, it is easier for us to collect your donation through Knights Youth Centre and then distribute the money to all three charities at the end of the trip.

ABOUT THE CHARITIES
As mentioned before it only seems fair that if we're having the mother of all adventures we should give a little back, so as a team we need to raise a minimum of £1,000 for charity. £500 of this will go to the official charity Cool Earth. While the remaining money will be split between Knights Youth Centre (KYC) and Cancer Research. The charities of our choice.
However...
Our goal is to raise £5,000 towards the charities, with the majority of the money going towards KYC. We aim to raise £500 each for both Cool Earth and Cancer Research, with all money raised after £1000 going towards KYC.

About KYC: KYC promotes a service which is representative of the local community. KYC is open to any young person regardless of gender, sexuality, disability, culture or religion. It is our philosophy to promote the welfare of the young people, provide positive experiences and opportunities that will enable each young person to become more self confident, safe, ready for adulthood and independence through delivering universal and targeted services within the community five days per week.
In the past few years KYC was lucky enough to get support from George Clarke. George Clarke is an architect, creative director of George Clarke + Partners, and a founder of TV production company Amazing Productions. George is the presenter of several very successful series for television, including Channel 4’s Restoration Man, The Great British Property Scandal and George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.
KYC and George's relationship began a few years ago. KYC was approached by London Youth to work with George on a channel 4 documentary about Youth apprenticeships. Since then he has continued to support the charity and the good work it does in the local area. In 2016 George became patron to KYC and undoubtedly will be a influential figure in the years to come.
To aid us in our target of raising the £5,000 for charity, George will be tweeting/re-tweeting to his 120K followers blog posts and photos of us on our adventure. This will bring our website to a much wider audience and hopefully raise more money for KYC!

About Cool Earth: Cool Earth is the non-profit organisation that works alongside rain forest communities to halt deforestation and climate change. With half of the worlds rain forest already destroyed in the last 40 years cool earth continues to believe the rain forest can be saved. However a new approach is needed. That’s why we don’t create reserves or put up fences. We don’t buy land. Instead, we put local people back in control of their forest.
